hello my doctor told me im diabetic because my fasting blood glucose level was 10 is this a normal blood sugar?
No it isn’t, or he would not of course have said it.6mmoles is normal and a sugar as high as 10 is diagnostic.

obviously your doctor knows much more than us
if you dont trust your doctor
go to another doctor ^_^

make sure your hands are clean when you take blood

Fasting level more than 7 is diagnostic of diabetes. normal fasting is about 5. (between 5-7 is a grey area of prediabetes/insulin resistance) This result would be in keeping therefore with a diagnosis of diabetes mellitus
