Can recombinant tomato be used in the treatment of diabetes,if not why?

my dad has diabetes and i would suggest using none or very lil tomattos an ur diet the reason every time my dadz has sum sort of tomattos its disturbs his sugar level and affects his kidneyz idk if this help or if its only my dad but thats all i noe about ur topic.

Neither potatoes nor tomatoes are a treatment for diabetes.
Both are delicious and can be enjoyed by people with diabetes.
